X Capital Group was born from the shared passion of three retail traders who came together not with grand ambitions, but with a simple purpose — to build a private entity where they could manage and grow the income generated from their trading activities.

Over time, this camaraderie and mutual respect grew into the foundation of a company that would one day serve a much broader purpose.

What began as a personal venture quickly evolved into a collective mission.

Dixon Teo started his trading journey like many retail traders — from a small bedroom setup, facing countless challenges and blown accounts in his early years. Instead of giving up, he focused on mastering risk management and building a system that could be executed with discipline and consistency.

His breakthrough came when he became the first Malaysian trader inducted into FTMO’s Hall of Fame, proving that success in global markets is possible without Wall Street connections, as long as one has structure, discipline, and the right mindset.

Building on that milestone, Dixon went on to establish Tradexprop, a proprietary trading firm born in Kuching, Sarawak. From zero experience, he and his team have created a platform that has paid out millions to traders worldwide, while pioneering a transparent, risk-first model of modern prop trading.

Wan is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of X Capital Group and Tradexprop, a fast-growing proprietary trading firm. With 9 years of experience as a marketing executive in the palm oil industry, Wan’s fascination with how organizations operate led him to pursue an MBA, deepening his understanding of business systems and strategic decision-making.

Outside the boardroom, Wan is a certified fitness trainer, competitive motorsports driver, and former copywriter — blending performance, precision, and communication into everything he does.

His journey into trading began during the COVID-19 lockdowns, when he noticed that while most industries froze, the markets kept moving. Like many, he faced heavy losses early on, but used them as tuition — learning that true trading success hinges on two things: method and mindset.

Adam discovered modern proprietary trading firms in 2019 and has since built a consistent track record as a full-time trader.

Over the years, he has developed and refined trading systems that now form the foundation of his role as Chief of Trading at X Capital. Adam specializes in volume-based discretionary trading, combining institutional-level precision with adaptive execution strategies. By leveraging real-time volume analysis, he tailors his approach to meet the demands of today’s fast-moving markets.

Gordon began his career as an engineer, guided by structure and logic. What started as a simple curiosity about finance soon evolved into a deep fascination with markets — their complexity, opportunities, and hidden patterns.

Initially, trading was just a side pursuit, but Gordon quickly realized that markets are not random chaos; with the right data and algorithms, they can be decoded and optimized. This discovery led him into the world of quantitative finance, where uncertainty meets precision.

Today, Gordon is focused on building systems and strategies that bring clarity to the market. From an outsider with no background in the industry to a practitioner deeply immersed in quant finance, his journey reflects continuous growth, resilience, and innovation — and he’s only just getting started.

Brian was exposed to the trading world at the tender age of 18 via online trading groups disguised as ponzi schemes at the time. Luckily, he was able to discover their true nature early on and later on pursued a principled journey to develop effective, profitable trading strategies—a pursuit he continues with dedication.

Fast-forward to present day, Brian is now a seasoned finance professional with deep expertise in technical analysis, fundamental analysis, and algorithmic trading, serving as a Proprietary Trader at X Capital Group and a Market Analyst for Tradexprop.

Previously, Brian held the role of a Senior Multi-Asset Dealer at Malaysia’s leading brokerage firm, and has spoken at multiple Bursa Malaysia events and delivered talks at local and private universities, inspiring audiences with his practical approach to trading.
